He stated: 'Following a complex and lengthy investigation, an individual has now been charged with attempted rape and more than 50 other serious sexual offences. We recognise the nature and number of the charges may raise concern and anxiety within our communities.'
Rainbow further encouraged individuals with concerns or potential information to contact the police, while also reminding the public to avoid speculation online or in community discussions, as criminal proceedings are now active and such actions could impact the case.
