A shooting at a shopping centre in Louisiana has left two people critically injured and multiple others hurt as police work to track down the perpetrators.
The Baton Rouge Police Department says six people were possibly injured in connection with the incident at the Mall of Louisiana, with armed police swarming the scene and members of the public urged to avoid the area.
Local Governor Jeff Landry said in a statement: "I am aware of the active shooter scene at the Mall of Louisiana. I am in coordination with law enforcement and we will update as we know more. Please avoid the area. Sharon and I are praying for those affected and are grateful for a quick response by our law enforcement officials."
