Florida Woman's Violent Road Rage Rampage in Orlando

A Florida woman unleashed a violent road rage rampage in Orlando, attacking a pregnant driver, an elderly bystander, and biting a police officer during a chaotic arrest. Mandolyn Shaffer-Brockwell, 37, was arrested on February 23 after stopping traffic on a busy road near the Mall of Millenia, according to the Orlando Police Department.

Shocking Footage Captures Escalating Violence

Disturbing footage shows Shaffer-Brockwell jumping onto the hood of a white SUV before rushing to the driver's door, swinging it open, and assaulting the woman inside. The victim, who was pregnant and had a child in the car, told police the incident stemmed from a road rage dispute. According to a police report obtained by Fox 35 Orlando, the pregnant woman stated that Shaffer-Brockwell repeatedly stopped her car short and blocked her from changing lanes after the victim honked at her.

Elderly Bystander Intervenes and Is Attacked

A 68-year-old woman who witnessed the ordeal exited her vehicle to help, prompting Shaffer-Brockwell to scream at her. The assailant then proceeded to claw the elderly woman in the face, leaving bloody marks under her eyes, as seen in gruesome footage of the attack. After driving off, Shaffer-Brockwell was soon caught by a police officer who attempted to arrest her.

During the arrest, Shaffer-Brockwell was seen biting the officer's arm as he tried to handcuff her. The officer shouted, "Don't bite me!" while she resisted violently, screaming and squirming away. More officers eventually joined to subdue her and escort her into a patrol car. Once inside, Shaffer-Brockwell appeared disoriented and collected herself after the struggle.

Charges and Legal Proceedings

Shaffer-Brockwell faces multiple charges, including battery on a person 65 years or older, aggravated battery on a law enforcement officer, burglary of a conveyance, and resisting an officer with violence. Her mugshot showed blood and bruises on her face. She is currently held in jail on a $1,000 bond for each charge, except for burglary of conveyance, according to jail records reviewed by the Daily Mail. It remains unclear when she is due in court or if she has obtained legal counsel.
