Tragic Fire Claims Lives of Father and Daughter at Lincolnshire Takeaway
The victims of a devastating fire at a Chinese takeaway in Grimoldby, Lincolnshire, have been officially named as Yu Li, aged 45, and his 11-year-old daughter Sophie. The incident occurred at the Golden Phoenix Chinese Takeaway on Manby Middlegate, prompting a large-scale emergency response.
Emergency Services Rush to Scene
Multiple fire crews, along with East Midlands Ambulance Service, Lincolnshire Police, and an air ambulance, attended the scene. Despite their best efforts, both Yu Li and Sophie succumbed to the fire. The blaze has left the local community in shock, with tributes pouring in for the beloved father and daughter.
Other Casualties and Hospitalizations
In addition to the fatalities, a woman in her 30s was taken to hospital and remains in serious condition. Two men in their 40s and two children under the age of 10 were also hospitalized but have since been discharged. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation by authorities.
