Airport ground worker Jamie Fountain, 24, from Flitwick in Bedfordshire, and easyJet cabin crew member Ellie Ireland, 23, from Ampthill, appeared at Luton Magistrates Court this morning. Both defendants wore grey jumpers and spoke only to confirm their personal details during the brief hearing.

Serious Charges Filed

Fountain faces multiple serious charges including causing death by careless driving, causing death by careless driving while over the legal limit for alcohol and drugs, and two counts of causing serious injury by careless driving related to two other teenage boys injured in the incident. He has also been charged with failing to stop at the scene of the accident, failing to report an accident, and conspiracy to pervert the course of justice.

Ireland has been charged solely with conspiracy to pervert the course of justice in connection with the case. Neither defendant entered pleas during the hearing, and both were remanded in custody pending their next appearance at Luton Crown Court scheduled for May 5.

The tragic incident occurred at approximately 11:50 PM on Friday in Flitwick, claiming the life of the popular teenager and seriously injuring two other boys. One of those injured has since been released from hospital, while the other continues to receive medical treatment for serious injuries sustained in the collision.

Noah's family expressed their devastation, stating: 'We are utterly devastated; Noah's death has left a hole in our lives that will remain forever.'
