A hapless arsonist inadvertently set himself ablaze while attempting to torch a cannabis dispensary in Michigan, according to law enforcement officials.

Footage released by the Monroe County Sheriff's Office captures two hooded individuals ramming a Jeep Cherokee into the store's entrance. Once inside, they began dousing the interior with petrol, leading to one of them catching fire. The individual was still engulfed in flames as they fled the scene through the car park.
Aftermath
Built-in sprinklers quickly extinguished the blaze, allowing the store to reopen within hours. As of 13 May, no arrests had been made. The investigation remains ongoing.
