The incident occurred at around 5:20 PM local time in a bar on Calle Alfarerias in the city centre."
Details of the Incident
The explosion, described as possibly caused by a gas leak, triggered a fire in the premises and caused part of the facade to collapse. Emergency services confirmed that there were two explosions: one in the cafe and another in an adjacent garage, both likely due to gas.
Two of the injured individuals were transported to Torrecardenas Hospital, with one in serious condition due to burns and the other sustaining minor injuries from smoke inhalation. A third person was taken to a health centre at the bullring, though their condition remains unknown.
