Brutal Attacker Dodges Jail: 'Cowardly' Boyfriend's Vicious Assault on Partner's Mum
Thug avoids jail after breaking mum's nose in brutal attack

A vicious attacker has walked free from court after subjecting his girlfriend's mother to a brutal and sustained assault, leaving her with a broken nose and covered in bruises.

Kane Allcock, 22, launched the 'cowardly' attack on his partner's 41-year-old mother during a heated argument at her home in Birmingham. The court heard how the victim was punched multiple times in the face and body, an assault described by the judge as 'prolonged'.

The horrifying incident left the woman with significant injuries, including a fractured nose and severe facial bruising, a stark reminder of the violence she endured.

Controversial Sentence Sparks Outrage

Despite the severity of the assault, Allcock was handed a 14-month prison sentence, suspended for 18 months. This means he will avoid jail entirely if he stays out of trouble for the next year and a half.

In addition to the suspended sentence, Birmingham Crown Court ordered Allcock to complete 150 hours of unpaid work and 30 days of rehabilitation activity. He was also made subject to a restraining order to protect the victim.

A Chilling Account of the Attack

Prosecutor Simon Phillips detailed the terrifying ordeal, stating the victim was 'punched a number of times to the face and body'. The argument that precipitated the violence reportedly began after Allcock's girlfriend asked him to leave the property.

When her mother intervened to support her daughter, Allcock's rage turned towards her, culminating in the vicious physical attack that has left lasting physical and emotional scars.

Judge Sarah Buckingham, while acknowledging the 'serious' nature of the offence, cited Allcock's lack of prior convictions and his 'good character' as factors in the decision to suspend the custodial term.
