A quiet Minneapolis neighbourhood was shattered by an unimaginable tragedy on Thursday, leaving a community reeling and three families devastated.
Police responded to a harrowing scene at a residence on the 6200 block of Colfax Avenue North just after 10:15 pm, where they discovered the bodies of two young children and a woman, all victims of a fatal shooting.
Authorities have confirmed the victims are a 38-year-old woman and two boys, aged six and nine. While formal identification is pending, preliminary investigations point towards a grim conclusion: this was a targeted domestic violence incident.
