A jealous boyfriend who brutally stabbed his partner to death in a fit of rage over unfounded cheating allegations has been convicted of murder. The horrific attack occurred after months of controlling behaviour and paranoid accusations.
A Relationship Marred by Jealousy
The court heard how the 32-year-old defendant had become increasingly possessive and violent towards his 28-year-old victim in the months leading up to her death. Friends reported he would constantly check her phone and social media accounts, convinced she was being unfaithful.
