Court papers state that Rodriguez struck her fiancé in the face during the dispute. She was arrested on a charge of misdemeanour domestic violence. Following her arrest, she was released after posting a $500 bond. The court issued a directive ordering her not to assault, threaten, or harass Daryoushfar.
Daryoushfar faced his own legal consequences, being booked on a charge of assault on a female. The court documents allege that he grabbed Rodriguez, causing scratches to her wrists and thighs. He was later released on a $2,500 bond and received a similar court order prohibiting contact or threats against Rodriguez. Daryoushfar also filed an indigency claim, citing financial difficulties in covering forthcoming legal costs.
