Aberdeen Man Found Dead: Three Arrested and Charged

David Prystajko, 44, has been named as the man found dead at a home in Aberdeen, with three people now arrested and charged in connection with his death.

Incident Details

Emergency services were called to the Marquis Road area of Aberdeen at around 4:25pm on Saturday, November 22, last year. Upon arrival, they discovered a 44-year-old man deceased at a property. His family was informed of the tragic news.

Police Scotland launched an investigation and have now identified the victim as David Prystajko. Three individuals have been arrested and charged: two men aged 27 and 32, and a 43-year-old woman. They are expected to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Monday, July 13.

Previous Arrests

In December last year, a 32-year-old man was arrested in connection with assault, and a 27-year-old was arrested in connection with the death. Both were released while the investigation continued.

Family Tribute

David's family has paid tribute to the "deeply loved father." In a statement released through Police Scotland, they said: "David was a deeply loved father, son and brother. He was a caring and loving person, and the grief experienced due to this unexpected loss has been unimaginable. There has not been a single day that David has been out of our thoughts, and he will remain in our hearts forever."

They added: "We continue to wake everyday with horrible thoughts and feelings, caused by his loss. We would like to take this opportunity to thank Police Scotland for their dedication in the enquiry and for the support they have provided our family throughout this incredibly traumatic time. As we continue to grieve, we kindly ask that our family’s privacy be respected while we allow the legal process to take its course."

Police Statement

Detective Inspector Andy Machray said: "Our thoughts remain with David’s family during this difficult time. Incidents of this nature can understandably cause concern for the local community, and we’d like to thank the public for their support during this investigation."
