Commuters faced disruption on Monday morning after the Waterloo and City line was suspended and DLR services were halted by a customer incident.

Signal fault halts Waterloo and City line

The entire Waterloo and City line was suspended at 6.40am while engineers worked to fix a signal fault at Waterloo. The line, which connects Waterloo to Bank, was brought to a standstill during the morning rush hour.

DLR trains disrupted by customer incident

There was no service on the DLR between Stratford and Canary Wharf due to what TfL described as a “customer incident”. Trains have since resumed running, but with severe delays reported.

The Standard has contacted TfL for comment. Commuters are advised to check live updates as services return to normal.
