In this case, post due on that day would come on Tuesday, September 1, along with anything not delivered on Sunday, August 30.
Early deliveries and double rounds
If Royal Mail delivers before 7am, customers can call customer support to report the early delivery, if they wish. They can ask them to speak to the local delivery office, which typically gives the postperson a reminder about the standard start time.
