Metro Competitions is offering readers the chance to win a luxury two-week holiday for two to Australia, worth £35,000, with entries from just 50p. The prize includes business-class flights, five-star hotels and excursions across four bucket-list destinations: Sydney, Melbourne, Uluru and Hamilton Island, the gateway to the Great Barrier Reef.
Business-Class Travel and Sydney Highlights
The trip begins with Cathay Pacific business-class flights from the UK, including a stopover in Hong Kong, with lie-flat beds, gourmet dining and in-flight entertainment. Winners will spend four nights at the five-star Capella Sydney, a short walk from the waterfront and the Sydney Opera House, where a three-course dinner for two at the acclaimed Bennelong restaurant is included.
Excursions include a private trip to the Blue Mountains, featuring a ride on the world's steepest passenger railway, plus free time to explore Sydney's beaches, take a ferry across the harbour or stroll through The Rocks district. The Harbour Bridge Climb is also available for panoramic city views.
Melbourne, Uluru and Hamilton Island
The itinerary continues with three nights at The Langham Melbourne, including a full-day Yarra Valley wine experience with premium tastings and vineyard lunch. Optional activities include exploring the Great Ocean Road.
Next, two nights at Sails in the Desert in Uluru include a sunset experience and the Field of Light installation, featuring more than 50,000 glowing spheres. Guests can also enjoy guided cultural experiences, explore Kata Tjuta or stargaze under the desert sky.
The final stop is Hamilton Island, with three nights at the Qualia resort in a Leeward Pavilion.
