Universal Studios to Launch Global Pokémon Attraction Starting in Japan

Universal Studios has announced plans to introduce a new 'world-class' Pokémon attraction at its theme parks globally, with the first location set to open in Osaka, Japan. The attraction will later expand to the Universal Studios site in Orlando, Florida.

The new experience is described as offering 'a hyper-realistic experience that simulates all five senses,' aiming to bring the Pokémon world to life in an interactive and immersive way. The announcement was made in a statement by Universal Studios Japan.

Pokémon Company CEO Tsunekazu Ishihara said the project aims to 'create new entertainment unique to theme parks as a rich experience in the real world' and continue to provide surprises to people worldwide. He added that the company's mission is to enrich both the real and virtual worlds through Pokémon.
