A British tourist visiting Tenerife has gone viral after sharing her discovery of a restaurant offering a pizza and Aperol Spritz for less than £10.
Bargain meal in Costa Adeje
Beth Yeandle, on holiday in Costa Adeje, posted a TikTok video about her lunch at La Spezia. The restaurant advertises a €6 (£5) pizza and pasta offer, plus a happy hour with half-price drinks from 2pm to 5pm. Beth and her two friends each ordered a pizza with different toppings.
“The pizzas were huge, and you can't beat a good Aperol at lunchtime,” she said. “We enjoyed it so much that we actually ended up going twice.”
While she didn't reveal the final cost, assuming she used the offer, her food was €6. The average Aperol Spritz price in Tenerife is between €7.50 (£6) and €8.50 (£7), meaning her drink cost around €3.75 to €4.25 with the half-price offer – bringing the total to under £10.
