A new wave of luxury hotels is set to open across the United States in 2026, offering everything from sky-high cocktail bars to glamping under the stars. Among the most anticipated launches are properties in New Orleans, Nashville, Charleston, Yosemite and New York City.

In New Orleans, the 250-room Fairmont New Orleans will open in June 2026, featuring a rooftop pool deck, a 10,000-square-foot spa, and a 31st-floor Cloud Bar with sweeping views of the Mississippi River. Rooms are expected from around $350 per night.

Nashville’s Songteller Hotel, a tribute to Dolly Parton, will also debut in June 2026. The 245-room property will include a museum of her memorabilia, suites designed with her input, and live music venues. Prices range from $350 to $450 per night.

Charleston’s The Cooper, opening in March 2026, is a new-build waterfront hotel with an infinity pool overlooking the harbour, a private marina, and a 7,000-square-foot spa. Rooms start at around $850 per night. Meanwhile, Under Canvas Yosemite, opening on 16 April 2026, offers safari-style tents with stargazing panels and en-suite bathrooms from $161 per night.

In New York City, the Kimpton Era Midtown will add to the skyline with stylish bedrooms, though details remain under wraps. These openings highlight a trend towards immersive experiences, from Dolly Parton-themed luxury to glamping in national parks.
