The Saccone Joly family, once Britain's most beloved influencer clan with over 1.5 million YouTube subscribers, has relocated from their lavish Surrey mansion to Marbella, Spain, in pursuit of a healthier lifestyle. The family, consisting of parents Anna and Jonathan Joly and their four children, sold their seven-bedroom home for £1.5 million and have publicly renounced their former life of constant online documentation.
New Beginnings in Marbella
In a video titled 'We Moved to Marbella! HOUSE TOUR', Jonathan Joly confirmed to his nearly three million subscribers that the move was permanent, not a joke or an Airbnb. The tour featured their children—Emilia, 13, Edie, 12, Alessia, nine, and seven-year-old Andrea—showcasing the luxury villa with sea views, a private pool, and even a lift. Anna, with over 344,000 TikTok followers, described the move as the 'best decision we ever made'. She cited the longer days, organic food, and Mediterranean diet as key factors, adding that her children are already playing outside without devices.
Reasons Behind the Move
Anna explained that the abundance of sunlight in Spain allows them to 'maximise your days', and the availability of organic fruits and vegetables aligns with her passion for healthy cooking. The family also brought their three dogs, who now enjoy beach walks. While it feels like a holiday, Anna noted that things will become more real when the children start school next week.
The move comes after years of backlash. The Saccone Jolys rose to fame in 2010 by documenting daily life, including births and dinners, amassing over 1.6 million subscribers and an estimated net worth of £1 million. However, by 2020, their channel went dormant amid allegations of exploiting their children. Thousands of videos were removed in 2022, including a popular clip of Emilia's birth with 5.4 million views. The couple also faced scrutiny over their son Eduardo's transition to Edie. Their re-emergence last year under the name SacconeJoly Sisters surprised fans, with Jonathan taking a backseat and Emilia handling presenting duties.
Fan Reactions
Fans expressed shock and skepticism in comments. Some questioned how the children would attend school without Spanish, while others speculated the move might be temporary. Critics noted that Marbella has its own winter challenges. However, supporters praised the decision as a great adventure for the family, with one commenting, 'Life is for adventure and the children are at perfect ages.' Anna has promised 'lots of Spain content' in the coming weeks, hinting at a continued online presence focused on their new life.
