Ryanair Liverpool-Gdansk Route Starts October 26

Liverpool John Lennon Airport has announced a new Ryanair route to Gdansk, Poland, starting October 26, 2026. The flights will operate twice weekly on Mondays and Fridays, offering access to the historic Baltic port city known for its ornate, colourful buildings, Gothic churches, and Baroque townhouses.

Gdansk: A Historic Trading Port

Gdansk, once one of Europe’s most important trading ports, boasts an expansive maritime history and museums. Its Old Town, dating back to 970 AD, was severely damaged during World War II's siege of Danzig but has since been beautifully restored.

Fourth New Route in Two Months

This route is the fourth announced by Liverpool John Lennon Airport in two months. In June, EasyJet confirmed flights to Budapest starting November 19, 2026, operating twice weekly on Thursdays and Sundays. EasyJet also announced routes to Reykjavik (from November 2, twice weekly on Monday and Friday) and Kittilä (from November 25, twice weekly on Wednesday and Saturday).

Budapest, known for Buda Castle, the Parliament Building, and thermal baths, is already served by Ryanair from Liverpool. Reykjavik, the world's northernmost state capital, is a gateway for Northern Lights seekers. Kittilä, in Finnish Lapland, offers winter snow adventures and summer Midnight Sun exploration, centered on the Levi resort.
