Hayfield campsite in the Peak District is offering a £17.50 per night rate as part of a summer deal, with availability still open for the next few weeks. The site, run by the Camping and Caravanning Club, is one of more than 50 locations included in the offer, which charges a single price regardless of how many people are staying.
Location and Facilities
Situated on the doorstep of Kinder Scout, one of the UK's most popular walks, the campsite is ideal for all abilities. It lies less than half a mile from the village of Hayfield along a picturesque riverside path, and serves as the starting point for the hike up to Kinder Scout, which beginners can tackle with a reasonable fitness level and by following well-known routes like Jacob's Ladder.
Onsite facilities include toilets, showers, a shop, and a play area for children. Reviews praise the 'perfect', 'beautiful' and 'peaceful' site, which has a minimum stay of two nights. One visitor who stayed last month said: "A really lovely peaceful welcoming site with great facilities. The shower and toilet block is kept very clean, and there is loads of helpful information about walks in the area, the village, bus times, etc."

Sabina Voysey, the Camping and Caravanning Club's director general, said: "We are celebrating 125 years of the Club with a summer deal where campers can book a grass pitch at more than 50 locations from just £17.50 a night, paying just one price, no matter how many people are on the booking." She added that Hayfield has proven particularly popular, with bookings 18% higher than this time last year.
