Free Baguettes and Coffees at PAUL for Bastille Day
Popular bakery chain PAUL, which operates 31 stores across the UK and more than 800 worldwide, is celebrating Bastille Day on Tuesday, July 14, with a series of special offers that include 2,550 free items. The giveaway consists of 1,550 complimentary barista-made drinks and 1,000 of its signature baguettes.
Morning Giveaway: Free Drinks for Striped Customers
From 8am to 9am, the first 50 customers at each PAUL bakery who are wearing stripes can claim a free barista-made drink. The offer is available at all 31 UK stores. Customers must be wearing any kind of stripes, such as a Breton-style top, striped trousers, a scarf, or even a beret. Excluded from the offer are coolers, frappés, and hot chocolate.
Afternoon 'Storming of the Baguette' Promotion
From 3pm until closing time, PAUL will hand out 1,000 freshly baked baguettes across five of its London bakeries as part of its "Storming of the Baguette" promotion, inspired by the Storming of the Bastille during the French Revolution. The participating branches are Kings Road, Marylebone, Marble Arch, Holland Park, and South Kensington. Each bakery will have 200 baguettes available, with one per customer on a first-come, first-served basis while stocks last.
Social Media Prize Draw for a Year's Supply of Bread
Customers who share a photo of their baguette in a static post on Instagram or Facebook between July 14 and July 31 will be entered into a prize draw to win a year's supply of bread. To qualify, shoppers need to tag @PaulBakeryUK and use the hashtag #StormingOfTheBaguette. The winner will receive up to three baguettes every calendar week for a year.
PAUL has been baking traditional French bread, pastries, and cakes for well over a century and now operates more than 800 bakeries worldwide, including 31 across the UK.
