Newcastle Cocktail Week returns on Friday, October 2, with 55 venues taking part across the city centre, offering deals and discounts to wristband holders.
The event, which begins at 5pm, involves bars and restaurants throughout Newcastle city centre. To take part, attendees must purchase an official wristband for £5 online, with collection available from The Alchemist (12-8pm daily) or Manahatta on Collingwood Street (4-8.30pm Wednesday-Friday, 12-8.30pm Saturday and Sunday).

There were originally 56 venues, but one – Revolucion de Cuba – closed on Saturday and will soon be replaced by Barbara's Bier Haus, an apres ski venue.

How to get involved
Wristbands are required to access the deals at all participating venues. The event is scheduled to run from the start of October, with the Friday start aligning with the end of the working week.
