Monday night's Set For Life draw failed to produce a winner for the top prize of £10,000 every month for 30 years. The National Lottery game, drawn twice weekly on Mondays and Thursdays at 8pm, saw no ticket matching all five numbers and the Life Ball.
However, one lucky ticketholder matched five numbers without the Life Ball, securing them £10,000 every month for one year. The full jackpot requires matching five numbers from 1-47 and one Life Ball from 1-10.
A recent winner, a grandad from Liverpool, scooped the top prize in a previous draw. He matched all five numbers plus the Life Ball, and plans to relocate, buy new trainers, and help family and friends. "It has not properly sunk in yet," he said.
