Liverpool's sportswear giant Montirex has launched a new golf collection as The 154th Open Championship returns to Royal Birkdale. The brand is blending performance-focused designs with its contemporary aesthetic to bring golf attire into the modern era.
Collection details and inspiration
Danny Yuen, director and co-founder of Montirex, said: "Golf is evolving, and so are the people who play it. This collection is about creating something that feels relevant to a new generation, something that reflects their style, their culture and how they engage with the sport today."
The collection includes everything from quarter zips, to hoodies, jackets, polos and more. To celebrate the launch, customers will receive a complimentary gift with every Montirex purchase this weekend at Liverpool ONE.
Key items in the collection
The Golf Trail Polo is priced at £37.99 and is available in four colours: navy blue/multi, black/grey, blue/white, and grey multi. "Built for comfort and performance on the course", the polo is made from a trail fabric, featuring a bonded collar, a bonded placket with three buttons, and bonded cuffs and hems. It has the Montirex Golf raised rubber branding on the chest. Sizes range from XS to XXXL.
The Golf 1/4 Zip is priced at £64.99 and is available in three colours: black/onyx, midnight blue/navy void, and cement grey/asphalt. Crafted from a lightweight stretch fabric it has a streamlined fit for unrestricted movement, with bonded cuffs and hems, and a coated zip with jetted zip guard. It's finished with the Montirex Golf branding on the back panel. Sizes range from XS to XXL, with the XXXL currently unavailable online.
The Golf Hood is priced at £59.99 and is available in black or cement grey. Designed for "ultimate comfort and flexibility", it has a soft stretch scuba fabric with a double layered hood, and zipped lower pockets. It has a large MTX Golf branding on the chest. Sizes range from XS to XXXL.
