Manchester Airport offers several lounge options across its terminals, with prices starting from £31.99. The lounges provide passengers with exclusive spaces away from the main terminal, comfortable seating, and food and drink.
Following the airport’s £1.5billion transformation programme of Terminal 2, many lounge options have changed, with several new openings in recent months. Terminal 1 is now closed, while Terminal 2 was extended to serve more than 70 per cent of passengers. Terminal 3 has also been transformed using space from the former Terminal 1, and it now serves Ryanair passengers exclusively.

Its chef-led dining experience includes made-to-order dishes in a theatre kitchen setting and barista coffee, in addition to a hot food buffet plus deli and salad choices, accompanied by a selection of premium alcoholic and soft drinks. On Sundays, a carvery is available – a unique offering for a UK airport lounge.
The Emirates Lounge is available in Terminal 2 and is exclusive to Emirates passengers. Complimentary access is provided for First Class and Business Class passengers, along with Emirates Skywards Platinum and Gold members. Gold members can bring one complimentary guest (adult or child), while Platinum members can bring one adult and two children (under 17 years). The Emirates lounge offers a place to dine, relax or work before the flight, with “culinary theatre and live cooking” and a menu inspired by the North. There are hot and cold buffet options, freshly prepared à la minute meals and carved meats. Guests can help themselves to drinks at the bar, including glasses of Moët & Chandon, or enjoy a freshly prepared cocktail or barista-prepared coffee. The lounge includes relaxed seating with views of the airfield, meeting spaces, shower suites, private spaces and prayer rooms, as well as direct gate access.
aether Private Terminal
aether, Manchester Airport’s premium terminal, is open to passengers from all airlines, with prices from £199. Located in a standalone, intimate facility away from the main terminals, it marks its second anniversary in November and offers an experience more typically associated with private aviation.
Upon arrival, guests enjoy panoramic airfield views from an exclusive lounge space and a curated menu by award-winning chef Adam Reid. When it’s time to board, guests are whisked through a private security check, with no waiting around, and then taken to their aircraft gate by private chauffeur. The service is open to passengers travelling with any airline, though hold luggage is only available to passengers flying with a partner airline.
