Therese Gudmundsen, dubbed Manchester United's sexiest fan, has called for Manchester City to be stripped of their Premier League titles following a reported guilty verdict on their alleged financial breaches.
Guilty verdict reported
Reports emerged on Friday (September 25) afternoon that Enzo Maresca's side have been found guilty on all but one of their 115 charges by an independent panel. City denied all wrongdoing and issued a statement in response.
The punishment for City remains unclear, but Gudmundsen claimed they should be stripped of the titles won during the period of alleged breaches, which would benefit her beloved Red Devils.
Fan's social media demand
In an Instagram post, posing pitchside at Old Trafford in front of the Champions League, Premier League and FA Cup trophies, she joked: "The only English club to win the treble! Now relegate them, strip them of their titles, and hand us #21, #22 & #23 too!"
According to The Athletic, the belief in the Premier League is that City will not be stripped of their titles. If they were, it would only count for titles between 2009 and 2018. Reports suggest City's "most likely" punishment will be a points deduction.

United fans flooded her comments section with reactions. One wrote: "What a day!" Another said: "One more for SAF!" A third claimed: "Any punishment for Manchester City is too lenient." Another added: "Manchester is red always!"
City's statement
City broke their silence 24 hours after the news broke, with chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak stating: "The Premier League process still has a long way to run, and our confidence and intent in proving the Club’s innocence is just as strong as when this began."
He added: "There are so many things that I would like to be able to share with you to help you understand why we feel so confident in our position. But the strict confidentiality of the legal process and our determination to respect it means I cannot do that at the moment."
Al Mubarak continued: "Even this letter underwent several legal checks to make sure it complies. I ask you to please carefully read the statement below, which we gave on Friday, and the statement we issued in February 2023 (also below). Every word matters and holds true."
He concluded: "While some people have been quick to reach their own conclusions, and there is so much noise swirling around us, nothing has changed. We have faced challenges together before and have prevailed. There remain many who want to undermine the momentum of our Club. We will not give them that opportunity."
