Man Dies After Being Pulled From Skegness Beach Waters

A man in his 30s has died after being rescued from the sea at Skegness beach in Lincolnshire, just days after a woman lost her life in a similar incident. Emergency services were called to the popular seaside resort shortly after 6pm following reports that HM Coastguard had pulled the man from the water.

Lincolnshire Police confirmed the man was pronounced dead at the scene, and his family have been informed. The incident follows the death of a woman in her 60s who was also pulled from the same waters on Friday. Despite intensive rescue efforts, including CPR on the beach, she could not be saved.

The RNLI launched a major search after the woman went missing in the sea. A Coastguard helicopter, air ambulance, East Midlands Ambulance Service, Lincolnshire Police, and the RNLI all responded to the incident.
