Two men were arrested and three individuals banned for life from Legoland Windsor following a mass brawl that erupted in a ride queue, shocking children and families. The altercation occurred on Saturday at around 4.15pm in the queue for the Jolly Rocker swingboat ride, a pirate-themed attraction.
Witnesses reported that tensions escalated among approximately ten parents waiting in line, with one man reportedly grabbing a metal pole. Some children initially believed the disruption was part of the ride's performance, but it quickly became clear that a violent fight was taking place. The ride was closed for 20 minutes while security and police intervened.
Thames Valley Police confirmed the arrest of two men, aged 29 and 30, on suspicion of a public order offence. Both received fixed penalty notices. A Legoland spokesperson stated: 'An altercation occurred between a large family group and a male guest. The large group of males and their families were removed from the park.'
One onlooker described the scene as 'vicious' and 'frightening,' adding that their ten-year-old child declared they would never return. 'You don’t expect to see this at Legoland,' the witness said. The park has since banned the troublemakers for life, ensuring they and their families cannot re-enter the resort.
