This crystal-clear chalk stream, renowned for its trout, meanders peacefully through the village, crossed by charming stone footbridges. Established in 1902, it remains a working farm where you can try your hand at fishing or simply purchase some of the freshest trout imaginable. It’s a living piece of the village’s history and a testament to its sustainable roots.

Waking up to views of swans gliding past your window is an experience that borders on the magical.
