Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines has launched its 2028 sailing programme from Liverpool, featuring eight new cruises departing between April and June 2028. Highlights include scenic voyages through Norway's fjords and around the British Isles aboard the smaller ship Borealis, alongside an 18-night Mediterranean cruise visiting the Italian Riviera and Amalfi Coast.
New 19-night Canada cruise
New for 2028 is Borealis' 19-night S2811 "Scenic Highlights of Canada" cruise, departing from Liverpool on June 14, 2028. Passengers can watch for whales along Newfoundland's rugged coastline and explore Old Québec's streets and French-Canadian heritage.
The itinerary includes Liverpool, Belfast, St. John's (Newfoundland), Gaspé (Quebec), Baie Comeau (Quebec), Quebec City (Quebec), cruising Humber Arm and Bay of Islands, Corner Brook (Newfoundland), L'Anse aux Meadows (Newfoundland), Cobh (Ireland) and back to Liverpool. Prices start from £2,599 per person and the cruise is available to book now.

Borealis' 10-night "Scenic Norwegian Fjords" cruise departs from Liverpool on April 12, 2028, with freedom fares from £1,299 per person. The voyage includes sailing along fjords accessible only to smaller ships, a visit to the Briksdal Glacier from Olden, views from the Loen Skylift, and the Fureberg Waterfall during a diversion into Maurangerfjord. The itinerary includes Ullapool, Kirkwall (for Orkney's whisky heritage), and views of Duart Castle, the Small Isles, Harp Rock and Fingal's Cave.
