Real reason Meghan Markle is 'keeping her head down' after UK return
Real reason Meghan Markle is 'keeping her head down'

Meghan Markle may be "keeping her head down" for one major reason, according to PR expert Rhea Freeman. The 45-year-old is now said to be living in the Cotswolds with Prince Harry and their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, after the family returned to the UK at the end of August.

Privacy concerns after WhatsApp leak

Since their return, Meghan has not made any public appearances. Ms Freeman suggested this could be due to a potentially serious threat to her privacy last month. Meghan's personal mobile number appeared to have been leaked from a school parents' WhatsApp group chat.

In a screenshot shared by The Sun, a mother can be seen welcoming Meghan in the chat, which was named Year 3 and featured the books emoji. The unnamed mother said: "Welcome to Meghan who has Archie joining tomo." Another mother chimed: "Welcome!" The Duchess of Sussex replied: "Hi moms! Thanks for the warm welcome [heart emoji] So happy to be a part of this community xx"

Children's school changes

Speaking about the WhatsApp chat, Ms Freeman told the Daily Express: "I feel like since the WhatsApp and social media mishap, Meghan might be keeping her head down a little, and I get that completely."

She also added that it could be due to the fact that their children started at a school before being withdrawn and enrolled in another within days. She said: "Also, she has just moved back to the UK and has two children to settle into new schools twice in a very short space of time. Doing it once is hard enough!"

Meghan is thought to have stayed with Archie and Lilibet, aged seven and five, at their Oxfordshire home while Harry travelled to Greenwich last month for an Invictus Games event. The couple returned to the UK on August 26, just days after the shock news was made public.
