EasyJet has announced it will cover the cost of a passport for babies to help families 'make memories sooner'. The UK-based holiday operator said the fee will be covered when parents book an easyJet holiday.
Survey Reveals Parent Struggles
The announcement follows a survey of 2,000 parents for the budget carrier, which found that one in four said they needed six attempts to get an approved passport photo for their baby. One in 10 admitted they did not know their baby needed their own passport until they started planning a holiday.
EasyJet holidays reported a 10 per cent increase in infants travelling this year compared to 2025.
Company Statement
Stuart Wright, customer director at easyJet, said: "Travel has a unique way of bringing families together, and a baby’s very first holiday is often one of those moments parents remember for years to come."
"By covering the cost of a baby’s first passport, we’re helping more families start making those memories that little bit sooner," he added.
How to Claim
The company said details on how parents can claim the £66.50 passport offer for a child up to the age of 18 months will be available at easyJet.com/firstpassport.
