A flight from Heathrow descended into chaos after an intoxicated passenger allegedly vomited on a family and spat wine at fellow travellers, sparking outrage and disruption mid-air.
Witnesses described scenes of horror as the unruly individual, who appeared heavily under the influence, targeted a family seated nearby. The incident forced cabin crew to intervene, but not before the passenger caused significant distress to those around them.
Mid-Air Mayhem
According to reports, the disruptive behaviour began shortly after take-off. The passenger, who had reportedly consumed excessive amounts of alcohol, became aggressive and verbally abusive before the vomiting incident occurred.
One passenger recounted: "It was disgusting. The smell was unbearable, and the family was left covered in vomit. The crew did their best, but it was a nightmare."
Airline Response
The airline has since issued a statement condemning the behaviour and confirming that the individual was restrained and handed over to authorities upon landing. "Such conduct is unacceptable and will not be tolerated," a spokesperson said.
Aviation experts warn that incidents of air rage, particularly involving alcohol, are on the rise, urging passengers to drink responsibly while flying.
