Drunk British Airways Passenger Vomits on Family and Spits Wine Mid-Flight

A British Airways passenger has been branded the 'ultimate passenger from hell' after she allegedly vomited on a family and spat wine at them during a transatlantic flight from London Heathrow to San Diego.

The woman, reportedly drunk on smuggled wine and onboard drinks, caused 'bedlam' on Flight BA273 earlier this month. Witnesses said she downed wine from a bottle in her hand luggage, then ordered a Chardonnay and a Bloody Mary before spitting wine at a family and harassing them.

The unruly tourist is said to have thrown water, mocked the family, grabbed a woman's hair, and taken photos of passengers. After consuming more alcohol, she vomited over the 'appalled trio', leaving the cabin stinking.

The captain radioed ahead for police to meet the plane. The family was moved to the front of the aircraft, and cabin crew issued a final warning to the woman. Upon landing in San Diego on August 13, she was arrested by FBI agents and led away.

The woman reportedly claimed it was her birthday and she was celebrating with 'a few drinks'. Her nationality and whether she was travelling alone remain unclear. British Airways has been contacted for comment.
