A couple from the UK found themselves in an awkward yet hilarious situation when they arrived at their dream holiday destination—only to discover they were a year early.
Paul and Linda, who wished to keep their surnames private, had eagerly booked a getaway to celebrate their anniversary. However, in their excitement, they misread the booking dates and turned up at the resort a full 12 months ahead of schedule.
"We were so sure everything was perfect," Linda admitted. "We even packed months in advance and double-checked our passports. But somehow, we completely missed the year on the confirmation email."
