A record-breaking number of more than 59,000 participants are anticipated to take part in the TCS London Marathon, as organisers aim to surpass last year's Guinness World Record for the most finishers. The event, set to be the most inclusive in its history, will feature over 1,900 disabled participants.
Celebrity Participants
Among the notable figures running are Wicked star Cynthia Erivo, former England footballer Tony Adams, cricketer Sir Alastair Cook, fitness coach Joe Wicks, and even children's character Daddy Pig. Their participation adds a touch of glamour and inspiration to the event.
World Record Attempts
A total of 76 participants will attempt to break 73 Guinness World Records. Notable attempts include Jennifer Ferris running with a double mastectomy and Mark Goulder aiming for the fastest blindfolded marathon.
