Carnival Cruise Line Introduces Express Dining for Quicker Onboard Meals

Carnival Cruise Line is revolutionising its onboard dining experience with the launch of a new Express Dining program. This initiative allows passengers to complete a multi-course dinner in under an hour, a significant reduction from the traditional two-hour dining sessions. The cruise line aims to provide greater flexibility for guests seeking to maximise their time enjoying other onboard activities.

Fleet-Wide Expansion by End of May

Currently available on 15 ships, including the Carnival Jubilee, Carnival Celebration, and Carnival Venezia, Express Dining will be rolled out across the entire Carnival fleet by the end of May. Groups of six or fewer can opt for this expedited service every night in the main dining room, ensuring a swift yet satisfying meal experience.

Designed for Flexibility and Convenience

Christine Duffy, president of Carnival Cruise Line, emphasised that Express Dining was developed in response to guest feedback requesting more flexible dining options. "Our guests continue to tell us they value greater flexibility in how they spend their time on board," Duffy stated. "Express Dining offers the same high-quality dishes and attentive service, while allowing guests to enjoy more onboard fun."

Despite the quicker pace, the Express Dining menu remains thoughtfully curated, mirroring the main dining room offerings with a slightly abbreviated selection. This ensures passengers do not compromise on quality while saving time.

Complementary Dining Enhancements

The introduction of Express Dining follows other recent innovations by Carnival Cruise Line, such as the Family Express service on the Lido Deck. This quick-service lunch buffet, now available fleet-wide, reduces wait times for families with kid-friendly options like chicken tenders and mac and cheese.

Additionally, Carnival is expanding its specialty dining venues, with Fahrenheit 555 and Bonsai Sushi Express launching on the Carnival Adventure and Carnival Encounter from May 4. These additions offer premium steakhouse dishes and affordable sushi options, respectively.

How to Access Express Dining

Passengers booked under the flexible Your Time Dining option can select Express Dining via the Carnival HUB App at no extra cost. This seamless integration allows guests to easily plan their evenings, whether they aim to catch a show or put children to bed promptly.

Carnival Cruise Line's ongoing efforts to enhance dining experiences underscore its commitment to passenger satisfaction and adaptability in the competitive cruise industry.
