At least two people have died and 15 others were injured after a glass balcony collapsed at a concert in San Luis Potosi, Mexico. The incident occurred at the Rich nightclub during a performance by musician Kevin Moreno.
Video footage shows the third-floor railing shattering, causing dozens of attendees to fall approximately 40 feet to the ground. Five of the injured are in critical condition and remain in intensive care.
The deceased have been identified as Manuel Alejandro Infante Puente, 21, and Rodrigo Espinosa Alonso, 17. A town hall representative stated the venue did not have approval to host the event, and authorities have shut down the nightclub pending investigation.
This tragedy follows a similar incident last month in San Pedro Garza Garcia, where nine people died after a stage collapsed during a political rally.
