Two young British tourists are battling for their lives in an Ibizan hospital after a terrifying moped crash turned their holiday into a nightmare.
The men, aged 22 and 25, were involved in a serious collision in the early hours of the morning in the bustling resort of San Antonio. It is believed they lost control of their vehicle and smashed into a wall, sustaining catastrophic head injuries.
Emergency services rushed to the scene and the victims were immediately transferred to the intensive care unit at Can Misses Hospital, where they remain in a critical condition. Their devastated families have now flown out to be by their bedside.

The local expatriate community has been left reeling by the accident. A close friend of the victims, who wished to remain anonymous, described them as "lovely lads" who were simply enjoying a well-deserved holiday.
