Scotland fans are gearing up to watch the World Cup for the first time since 1998, with numerous fan zones across the country offering exciting ways to experience the action from the United States. Scotland's campaign begins against Haiti on Sunday, June 14 at 2am, followed by Morocco on Friday, June 19 at 11pm, and Brazil on Wednesday, June 24 at 11pm.
OVO Hydro - Glasgow
The OVO Hydro in Glasgow offers a unique fan zone experience with a late licence to show all Scotland games. Before kick-off, enjoy live entertainment hosted by Des Clarke, music from the Hollie in the Hydro house band, and performances of Caledonia by Dougie MacLean and Loch Lomond by Donnie Munro of Runrig. The venue features football-themed activities, a 20-metre screen, expert analysis, and a range of food and drinks. Tickets are priced at £29.50 for adults, £19.50 for children, or £80 for all three games. Family tickets for each game cost £89.00 for two adults and two children.
Harbourworks - Aberdeen
Harbourworks in Aberdeen, billed as the city's biggest fan zone, has a capacity of 1,600. It offers street food from vendors like Cherry's Thai2go and Shipyard Street Food, plus DJs and live acts. Open from 6pm to 4:30am for the Haiti match, tickets range from £8.00 to £12.50 via Skiddle. All three group stage games will be shown.
Livehouse - Dundee
Dundee's Livehouse, a former Mecca Bingo venue, can hold up to 2,000 fans. It features large HD screens, DJs playing Scottish anthems, pipers, and street food vendors. Described as the biggest World Cup fan party in the city, tickets cost £15.00 plus a £1.75 booking fee, available on the Livehouse website or Skiddle.
Tynecastle Park - Edinburgh
Hearts' Tynecastle Park offers high-energy watch parties for all three group games, with big screens, full match sound, a DJ, competitions, and food. Tickets cost £10 and include a drink on arrival and a half-time pie. While the Haiti match is sold out, tickets for Morocco and Brazil are available via the Hearts website, with a waitlist for Haiti.
Fife Ice Arena - Kirkcaldy
The Fife Ice Arena, home to the Fife Flyers, is the only major fan zone in Fife. Sponsored by Tennents Lager, it features local food trucks, arcade games, live entertainment from DJ Lewis Montague and cover band Electric Tiel, and a piper performing Flower of Scotland. Tickets are £10 per match or £25 for all three games.
