Michael Barrymore has left fans astonished after revealing a 'secret London foodhall' tucked away in Acton. The 73-year-old entertainer, who once topped the UK's highest-paid TV stars, shared his discovery on TikTok, garnering over 350,000 views.
In the video, Barrymore films himself entering the W3 Food Court, a small independent venue housing several eateries. He greets a staff member, passes a shawarma stall and a cookie counter, before finding a Somali food vendor at the back, which he calls a 'hidden gem'.
He orders a mixed box of Somali food, then visits a shake and ice cream stand for a brownie and banana milkshake. He also picks up two classic chocolate chip cookies from the cookie stand, but the owner surprises him with a whole box.
Barrymore, originally from Bermondsey, captioned the clip: 'Secret London Foodhall.' The post has racked up over 33,000 likes and 1,000 comments, with many viewers expressing surprise that the venue existed. One fan wrote: 'I'm in Acton and didn't know this existed!' while another added: 'This is amazing, more hidden gems please!'
The W3 Food Court, located in west London, houses several independent food stalls, and Barrymore's video has shone a light on the quiet spot, where only two other customers were present during his visit.
