An American tourist has left social media users divided after admitting she could not work out how to use the sink in her London hotel room. Angelica, who posts on TikTok as @angelicajenniferr, documented her struggle in a series of videos that have since gone viral.
In the first clip, she said: 'Okay, I'm currently in London and guys, I don't know how to make my sink water go away. I have tried clicking it.' After multiple attempts, she called the front desk, where staff told her to 'flip it like a coin'. The plug, instead of a traditional push-button, required a simple twist to seal and release the water.
Angelica later joked about her 'blonde moment', explaining she had been reluctant to use her nails for fear of breaking them. Her follow-up video has racked up over 200,000 views, sparking a mixed reaction from viewers.
One commenter said: 'Standard hotel sink...' Another Brit admitted: 'As a Brit, I would have been lost too, don't worry. I know these sinks exist, but they're not everywhere.' However, some were less sympathetic, with one writing: 'So if you didn't think to try this, you obviously hadn't tried everything.'
