Xbox users across the UK and worldwide are experiencing problems signing into their accounts, accessing their game libraries, and launching games, according to numerous reports on social media and Downdetector.
Hundreds of users in the UK alone have reported the outage on Downdetector today, with the issue seemingly global.
Xbox Support Acknowledges Issue
Xbox Support issued a statement earlier today, confirming they were aware that some users were encountering errors when “attempting to sign in, see your game library or launch games”.
In a later update, the support team said: “Just checking in on the game library, sign-in, and game launch issue. We know this has been going on a while and appreciate your patience while our teams keep working on it. Watch here or at http://support.xbox.com for updates.”
No estimated time for a fix has been provided, and users are advised to monitor the Xbox support page for further updates.
