Steam Summer Sale: Big Discounts on GOTY Winners and More

The Steam Summer Sale is now live, offering major discounts on dozens of beloved games and heavy-hitting AAA titles. Whether you’re an action junkie, a cosy gamer or a role-playing wizard, there’s something for everyone. The sale caters to all genres, with up to 90% off some acclaimed games. There are also discounts on more recent titles like Resident Evil Requiem, as well as plenty of games that are Steam Deck verified for those who want to play on the move.

There are plenty of highlights in the sale, but most notably two of the most recent three Game of the Year winners are included.

Game of the Year Winners on Sale

Last year’s surprise hit Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is 20% off, offering a great chance for those who haven’t yet tried the visually stunning turn-based and story-driven RPG to get sunk in to a fantasy imagining of Belle Epoque France. 2023’s GOTY winner, Baldur’s Gate III, is also available at a knock-down price, with a quarter of its usual cost slashed. The cinematic, video game version of a Dungeons and Dragons tale drew plaudits when it released and remains an outstanding, dense RPG. Both titles are also Steam Deck verified, meaning they have passed Valve’s compatibility checks to ensure top performance on the handheld platform.
