Samsung has launched the Galaxy A37, its most budget-friendly smartphone, now available through Mobiles.co.uk with an introductory offer that works out at approximately 48p per day. The device aims to bring intelligent innovation and premium mobile experiences to a wider audience, according to the company.

Pricing and Deals

Mobiles.co.uk offers several double-data deals starting at £14.99 per month for the 256GB model. Notable options include 500GB for £22.99 with £9 upfront, or £14.99 per month with £169 upfront, equating to roughly 48p per day. Both deals are on 24-month contracts with iD Mobile, including unlimited UK minutes and texts, plus roaming in 50 destinations. Customers should note that bills will increase during the minimum term: a £14.99 plan rises to £16.79 from April 2027 and £18.59 from April 2028, as reported by the Daily Record.

Sky Mobile offers a rival deal at £15 per month with £12 upfront, but it runs for 36 months and provides only 100MB data allowance. For outright purchase, Amazon sells the 128GB and 256GB models for £349 (was £399) and £399 (was £459) respectively.

Features and Specifications

The Galaxy A37 boasts a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display, a slim design, and is available in four colours: Awesome Lavender, Awesome White, Awesome Charcoal, and Awesome Greygreen. It features AI-powered technology, a triple-lens camera with a 50MP AI-enhanced main sensor optimised for nighttime photos and HDR video, and a robust Octa-core processor (Exynos 1480 chip). Additional features include Google Circle to Search, Object Eraser, and six generations of Android updates plus six years of security and maintenance releases.

Customer Reviews and Downsides

On Samsung’s website, the Galaxy A37 has a 4.8-star rating. One shopper called it the “best budget phone on the market,” praising the camera and screen fluidity. Another noted the bright, smooth display and good battery life, saying the camera quality is “surprisingly good, especially in daylight.” However, a third reviewer mentioned that low-light photos could be better. One five-star review highlighted the “nightography mode” for sharp low-light shots and super-fast charging.

Potential downsides include the Exynos 1480 chip which may struggle under heavy gaming loads, and the lack of a dedicated telephoto camera for optical zoom.
