Nothing, the British tech brand known for its distinctive smartphones, has launched the Phone 4a series, offering affordable devices with unique design elements. The Nothing Phone 4a starts at £349 and features the company's signature see-through back and Glyph Bar, which lights up for notifications and can be used as a flash for selfies.
The Phone 4a boasts a 6.78-inch AMOLED display protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i, which offers twice the scratch resistance of its predecessor. Under the hood, it is powered by a Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor, ensuring smooth performance for daily tasks. A 5080mAh battery supports 50W fast charging, reaching 60% in just 30 minutes.
Photography is handled by a dual-lens Sony camera system, delivering sharp images day and night, with features like professional settings and an AI Photo Eraser. The device runs Nothing OS, providing a clean, customisable interface free from bloatware.
Alongside the standard model, Nothing also introduced the Phone 4a Pro, priced at £499. It upgrades to a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with 5000 nits peak brightness, a triple-lens rear camera with 140x zoom, and a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chip. The Pro model features a Glyph Matrix with 137 mini-LEDs, which can display notifications, play games, show timers, battery life, and the time.
The Phone 4a Pro will be available in black, silver, and pink, with multiple configurations. Both models aim to offer unique features at competitive prices, challenging other Android manufacturers.
