Manchester United have completed the signings of Andrey Santos, Karl Darlow, and Youri Tielemans this summer, but manager Michael Carrick is not done yet as the club targets further reinforcements. Scott McTominay's Future at Napoli
Scott McTominay, who joined Napoli in 2024, has become a key player for the Serie A side and led Scotland to the World Cup, though they exited in the group stage. He has yet to return to Napoli after the tournament. New Napoli manager Massimiliano Allegri issued a pointed message to McTominay and other players: 'I learned from an old coach. Until I see and coach players, making judgments from outside is always very difficult. I'm taking it with me. We'll get to know each other. Values are important. McTominay and [Noa] Lang will arrive before [August 5]. It will be important to work with seriousness and professionalism and above all, to lay the groundwork for reaching March.'
Neco Williams Targeted
Manchester United have set their sights on Nottingham Forest full-back Neco Williams, according to TEAMtalk. The 25-year-old Welsh international, who came through Liverpool's academy, is also being monitored by Newcastle and Tottenham. However, sources close to the player indicate that United particularly appeals to him. Forest are keen to keep Williams and are in talks over a new contract.
Ander Herrera's Emotional Return

Herrera, who joined United in 2014 for £29 million and made nearly 200 appearances, won the FA Cup, Carabao Cup, and Europa League before moving to Paris Saint-Germain in 2019. He later played for Athletic Bilbao and Boca Juniors. Now 35, he has signed a one-year contract with Zaragoza, the club he joined at age 11.
