Manchester United will listen to offers for young quartet Harry Amass, Dan Gore, Toby Collyer and Radek Vitek as Michael Carrick continues to put his stamp on the squad.
The Red Devils have continued their push to sign more midfield talent this summer, adding Youri Tielemans and Andrey Santos whilst at least one more could also arrive. Reinforcements in attack and at left-back are also on their radar.
Loan spells and potential exits
All four have had loan spells away and both temporary and permanent exits are on the cards, reports the Daily Mail. Goalkeeper Vitek impressed at Bristol City last season and enquiries have been made for him. Harry Amass, who was at Norwich previously, is also of interest.
Collyer has returned from a season that saw him have loan spells at West Brom and Hull, but United have previously been adamant he's not for sale. He was seen as a potential bargaining chip when United eyed a £100million-plus move for Carlos Baleba at Brighton, but those at Old Trafford refused to use him as part of the deal.
Collyer's background and future
Collyer came through the ranks at the Amex having been born in Worthing, just 10 miles down the road. He left in 2022 and those in Manchester were surprised when the chance to sign him came up with the 22-year-old considered one of the best midfielders in his age group.
United's signings in the middle of the pitch do still leave him with plenty ahead of him in the pecking order and, from a career development point of view, it looks as if he's best served playing away from Old Trafford.
The young quartet of Collyer, Amass, Gore and Vitek will ultimately remain training with United until the first-team stars who were in World Cup action rejoin the squad as they enjoy extended breaks.
