Disney+ has launched a limited summer offer that brings the cost of its standard ad-supported plan down to just 16p per day, undercutting Netflix's cheapest subscription. The deal applies to the first six months of a new membership across all three tiers.
Pricing Breakdown
The standard plan with advertisements is available for £4.99 per month for the initial six months, after which it reverts to £5.99. The ad-free standard tier costs £7.99 for the first half-year, then £9.99. The premium plan, which supports four concurrent streams instead of two, is priced at £10.99 for six months before rising to £14.99.
For context, Netflix's standard with ads plan starts at £5.99 a month, while Amazon Prime Video costs £8.99 and Apple TV+ is £9.99 per month.
