A woman who purchased a £4 book on Vinted was shocked to discover a charity shop receipt inside, revealing the seller had bought it for just £1.50 a week earlier.
Shan, a TikTok user who shares book recommendations, posted a frustrated video urging resellers to be more discreet. She said: "If you're going to buy stuff from charity shops to resell on Vinted, then don't leave the receipt inside the item."
The book in question was a Doctor Who title, 'Doctor Who: The Day She Saved the Doctor: Four Stories from the TARDIS,' a collection of short stories published in 2018. Shan explained she had bought the book thinking she was getting a bargain, but the receipt made her feel short-changed.
